The shortlist for the Zdravomyslie literary prize has been announced.

The expert jury's voting phase began on September 22. The panel included representatives from the medical community, media, and publishing houses. The jury will determine the winner in each of the four main shortlist categories.
Nomination "Science of Longevity":
– “The Long-Lived Brain: 7 Steps to Mental Clarity, Strong Memory, and Sustained Attention,” by Alexey Moskalov, published by Bombora.
– “Encyclopedia of Health”, author – Alexander Shishonin, publishing house “AST nonfiction”.
"100 Years of Life. Stories of Women the Same Age as the Century, Inspiring to Live Life to the Fullest," by Olga Safonova, Bombora Publishing House.
Nomination "Step Forward":
– “Facial Dermatoses”, edited by Professor Denis Zaslavsky, GEOTAR-Media Publishing House.
– “Surgery in the Fine Arts”, authors – Alexander Vorobyov and Irina Petrova, published by GEOTAR-Media.
"Surgeons, Saints, and Psychopaths: A Tight-Tackling History of Medicine" by Stephen Westaby, Bombora Publishing House.
Nomination "Aesculapius":
– “Origins”, authors – Dmitry Dolzhenko, Diana Rudakova and Ivan Bekker, author’s publication.

Nomination "Recipe for Health":
– “Psychosomatics of Childhood Trauma: How to Hear Your Child and Help Them Become Healthy,” by Ekaterina Tur, Bombora Publishing House.
"Get Rid of Trigger Points. Ready-Made Exercise Programs for Relieving Pain in the Spine, Joints, and Muscles" by Artem Pak, Bombora Publishing House.
– “Intestinal microbiota as a regulator of the functioning of human organs and systems”, edited by Valeria Novikova, Margarita Gurova and Anatoly Khavkin, published by GEOTAR-Media.
Additionally, 36 ideas for future books on medicine and health were submitted for the award. Winners of the special "Best Book Idea" category will have the chance to have their own book published by Bombora and MEDprof: Atlases, Books for Doctors.
The award results will be announced on October 16, 2025, and posted on the awards' official website . The awards ceremony will take place in Moscow.
The National Literary Prize in Medicine, "Zdravomyslie," is designed to support medical practice, popularize basic biomedical knowledge in society, promote a healthy lifestyle, and cultivate a culture of health. Organizers: Technologies of Trust, the Russian Ministry of Health, the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and the popular science television channel "Doctor."
