The government will allocate almost 20 billion rubles to upgrade 87 federal clinics

Budgetary allocations will be used for major repairs, equipping (re-equipping and (or) re-equipping) 87 medical institutions. Thus, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation will be allocated 16.1 billion rubles for the modernization of 65 institutions, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation - 2 billion rubles (for 14 medical organizations), the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia - 1.6 billion rubles (for 7 medical institutions), the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia - 110.9 million rubles (for one organization). In addition, funding is planned for the modernization of the B.V. Petrovsky Russian Scientific Center of Surgery, the Dmitry Rogachev National Medical Research Center of Pediatric Hematology and Immunology, and the A.V. Vishnevsky National Medical Research Center of Surgery.

The document also notes that all of the specified departments will be required to monitor the targeted and effective use of funds.

In May 2025, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova held a meeting of the project committee for the national project "Long and Active Life", the implementation of which was launched in 2025. Among other things, the meeting participants discussed the modernization of federal government agencies that participate in the basic compulsory medical insurance program, and reviewed the development programs of 91 federal scientific, medical and educational organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency and the Government of the Russian Federation. According to the statistics provided, since the start of the national project, it has been possible to build two feldsher-midwife stations - in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, a district hospital and an outpatient clinic in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. Over 140 buildings of medical organizations located in rural areas and small towns have been overhauled.

The implementation of the national project "Long and Active Life" started on January 1, 2025. Until 2030, its budget is 2.053 trillion rubles (excluding the reserve of 218 billion rubles). In March 2025, the passport of the national project was published, according to which 11 federal projects were included. Of the 2 trillion rubles, the largest part will be provided by the federal budget - 1.8 trillion rubles, more than 110 billion rubles will come from the FFOMS budget and about 130 billion rubles - the regional spending segment.

More than 75% (1.427 trillion rubles) will go to two federal projects: “Modernization of Primary Health Care” and “Fight Against Cancer”. More details on the goals and main parameters of the national project are in the Vademecum review .
