The allegation that caused chaos in the hospital! He introduced himself as a Court of Accounts auditor and conducted inspections for days.

The allegation that caused chaos in the hospital! He introduced himself as a Court of Accounts auditor and conducted inspections for days.

During a visit to Van Yüzüncü Yıl University by 8 March University President Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Erenoğlu brought up the university hospital's problems with a colleague. Through his colleague's reference, Erenoğlu was introduced to the Turkish State Railways (TTA), which had previously been investigated for fraud. Erenoğlu asked the TTA, which introduced itself as a parliamentary consultant, to come to Çanakkale and inspect the university hospital.

He introduced himself as a Court of Accounts auditor

Allegedly, TTA arrived at the hospital last week in a black official car with a Court of Accounts badge on the windshield. He requested a private room from the chief physician's office, stating that he would inspect the hospital with the knowledge of Rector Cüneyt Erenoğlu. He was given a private room and spent a week inspecting the hospital with the chief physician, head nurse, and security officer, interrogating some staff members.

MY ADVISOR SAID

According to the news in Sabah newspaper, TTA, who allegedly visited other faculties during his stay in the hospital and introduced himself as an advisor to the rector, learned that the Faculty of Arts and Sciences would be demolished and initiated the process with the university's purchasing manager for the demolition process.

Raided the intensive care unit

The horrific truth came to light when TTA stormed the intensive care unit and reprimanded a nurse. A doctor, suspicious of TTA's actions, identified him as an inspector on social media and immediately reported the incident.

MP FILED A COMPLAINT

It was revealed that TTA had previously introduced itself as an advisor to Zonguldak AK Party MP Hüseyin Özbakır, despite not knowing him, and that Özbakır had filed a complaint against TTA. It was determined that numerous criminal complaints had been filed against TTA with the prosecutor's office, accusing it of "title usurpation and fraud." University Rector Cüneyt Erenoğlu, in a statement to Sabah, explained that the individual had no business relationship with the university. Erenoğlu said, "I met this individual through a professor. He said he was a consultant, and I told him I wanted to host him and his family to see what was going on at our university hospital. They came with their family. I didn't assign him any duties. I didn't know he was introducing himself as a consultant or auditor. Unfortunately, he was a bit harsh with the staff. When we learned what had happened, we expelled him from our university this morning."
