Minister Işıkhan announced: 5 more cancer drugs were added to the SGK reimbursement list
Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that five more cancer drugs have been added to the SGK reimbursement list.
Minister Işıkhan, making a statement on social media, said, "With the good news announced by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, following our Presidential Cabinet Meeting, we will provide significant support to our citizens battling cancer. We are including five immunotherapy drugs, which are used against 25 different cancer subtypes, in the reimbursement scope of our Social Security Institution, along with the body's own immune system. With this regulation, 48,000 cancer patients will benefit from these treatments."
"With this regulation, the number of cancer drugs on the reimbursement list will increase to 784. We will continue to support our citizens fighting cancer in their struggle. I hope these drugs will bring healing to our patients," he said.
