Two more alcohol groups increase prices!

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), whose data has been the center of controversy, announced June inflation at 1.37 percent. The six-month inflation rate was 16.67 percent. The Revenue Administration (GİB) had announced a 15.71 percent increase in the Special Consumption Tax (SCT) on fuel, beverages, and tobacco products due to inflation.
Following the Special Consumption Tax (SCT) hike, a storm of alcohol price hikes has begun. Erol Dündar, President of the Tekel Dealers Mutual Aid Association, announced on social media that prices for Baron and Deva groups have been increased.
