A boulevard in Şırnak was named after Devlet Bahçeli

With the decision taken at the Şırnak Municipality July Council Meeting, the name of Hakkari Boulevard was changed to Devlet Bahçeli Boulevard.

Şırnak Municipality Council changed the names of some streets and parks in the July 2025 council meeting.

The name of Hakkari Boulevard has been changed to Devlet Bahçeli. The following statements were made by the Municipality:

''1) The name of the Nation's Garden has been decided as Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation's Garden.

2) The route from Gemi Junction to Şırnak University was previously designated "Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Boulevard." With the new decision made at our last council meeting, the scope of this route has been expanded, and the entire road from Gemi Junction to the Forest Management Directorate, where our zoning boundary ends, has been redesignated as Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Boulevard.

3) The part of the road, which was previously called Hakkari Boulevard starting from the Ship Junction and ending with the Provincial Special Administration Operation Workshop, has been renamed as Devlet Bahçeli Boulevard.

4) The name of our Life Park, located in the Bahçelievler District, where the Şehri Noah Hotel is located, has been changed to Turgut Özal Life Park in accordance with the decision taken.
