This is the underlying theme of the 51st Daune Medical Days , a CME training event organized by the Order of Surgeons and Dentists of Foggia , scheduled for Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th, 2025 , at the " Pasquale Trecca " auditorium. This year's title— "Fragility, Stigma, and Complexity in Clinical and Gender Medicine" —encapsulates the meeting's goal: to promote a form of medicine capable of understanding patient vulnerabilities, from social and psychological to metabolic and vascular.

VìOLA DAY: From Violence to Healing

The first day, Friday 7 November , will be dedicated to VìOLA DAY , the annual event dedicated to gender-based and domestic violence , which will develop around the acronym " VITA - Violence, Impact, Protection, Listening " and the theme "From violence to care: a new cutting-edge vision of gender medicine" . The fourth session , entitled “The welcoming network: comparing experiences” , will feature speakers including the regional health councillor Raffaele Piemontese , the mayor of Foggia Maria Aida Episcopo , Dr. Marialetizia Marra , president of the OMCeO of Taranto, and Dr. Elisabetta Mele , member of the Gender Medicine Commission of the Foggia Order.

Obesity and exercise-based health: the launch of the AFA Puglia project

The morning of Saturday, November 8 , will be dedicated to obesity and its consequences for public health. During the session on the multidisciplinary approach to excess weight , the initiative " Exercise is Therapy: Puglia, let's kick off Movement Health " will be launched, scheduled for November 15, 2025 , at the Policlinico Riuniti in Foggia.
