"A barcode for Bourbon is historic!" jokes André Perrier, who ran Le Bourbon with his wife, Monique, for thirty-eight years. He handed over to Rémy and Mélanie Michelas in 2014, and never would have imagined such an evolution. Yet, it's happened.

Trays with barcodes are now leaving the kitchens of the Yssingeaux town centre chain to be placed on the shelves of major retailers.
