Why is it possible to swim in Lake Arena in Roquebrune-sur-Argens again?

Banned from swimming since a municipal decree issued by Mayor Jean-Cayron on Thursday due to analyses revealing contamination by cyanobacterial toxins, the body of water can once again welcome swimmers and water sports enthusiasts.

"Good news ," we can read on the Facebook page of the commune of Roquebrune-sur-Argens since late Saturday morning. Following the latest analyses transmitted by the ARS on July 12 at 10:24 a.m., the quality of the water in the lake is now suitable for swimming. We are therefore happy to announce that the Arena lake is once again open to the public. Thank you all for your patience and understanding."
