Martin Sichert, a business graduate, ran for election for the Lower Saxony AfD. The politician was born on June 10, 1980 in Nuremberg. He attended high school in Neumarkt and graduated there in 1999.

He has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2017 and a full member of the Bundestag's Health Committee. He was previously a member of the FDP and the SPD and has been a member of the AfD since March 2013.
