Lea Reisner describes herself as a nurse with experience of poverty, a feminist and an anti-fascist. The Left Party politician passed her exams as a health and nursing assistant in 2012 at the Bonn Clinic of the Rhineland Regional Association. She then worked there as a nurse, as well as at the University Hospital of Cologne.
From 2017 to 2021, Reisner, born in 1989, worked as a nurse, operations manager and project coordinator for various organizations in civil sea rescue, including Sea Watch.
She was a founding member of the Kabul Airlift in 2022 and a project manager at Reporters Without Borders in 2022 and 2023. (iss)
