Today in Spain: A roundup of the latest news on Wednesday

Spain's far-right Vox party makes big gains, rent prices in Spain continue to increase, baby dies after botched circumcision and more news on Wednesday April 16th.
Spain's far-right Vox party makes big gains
The latest voting poll by Spanish public research institute CIS has found that far-right party Vox has gained 3.5 points in March and now has the support of 15 percent of voters.
Meanwhile the ruling Socialists (-1.9 percent) and the centre-right Popular Party (-3.1 percent) have lost support over the past month, but the party led by Feijóo are the biggest losers after falling further behind Pedro Sánchez's party and ceding voters to Santiago Abascal.
Vox, a big supporter of Donald Trump, is thus consolidating itself as Spain's third main political party, far ahead of junior coalition partner Sumar, which is hard left.

'Don't buy these eggs' signs confuse shoppers
Supermarket customers in Spain have recently encountered many signs on the shelves which read "Don't buy these eggs, goodbye code 3."
It's part of a campaign by Spanish animal welfare observatory OBA, which seeks to educate the public about the harsh conditions caged hens endure to produce these eggs.
This also comes at the time when the price of eggs has been increasing in Spain, as has been the case in other countries such as the US.

Baby dies after botched circumcision
A 40-day-old baby boy has died in the Almería town of Roquetas de Mar in southern Spain after a circumcision was performed on him at the family home by a man with no medical training.
The baby's parents rushed him the health centre in despair as the child was suffering from severe bleeding after the intervention, but doctors were unable to save his life.
The man who performed the botched circumcision has been placed under arrest while the child's parents are on probation.
