Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra was discovered unresponsive on a yacht docked at the Montauk Yacht Club in East Hampton. Emergency responders arrived after a 911 call from a man reporting an unconscious woman around midnight on Tuesday.
Good Samaritans attempted CPR, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Suffolk County Police stated:
“The preliminary investigation and exam were inconclusive regarding the cause of death, which will be determined by an autopsy conducted by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.”.
The Homicide Squad is leading the investigation, urging witnesses to come forward.

Born in Carlow, Ireland, Martha moved to New York at 26, driven by entrepreneurial ambition. She founded the resortwear brand East x East in 2022 and recently launched a pop-up shop at Gurney’s Montauk Resort.
