Transportation is free in Istanbul during Eid

Transportation in Istanbul will be free between 6-9 June 2025, which includes the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Personalized Istanbulkart owners will be able to use public transportation vehicles belonging to IMM free of charge during the 4-day holiday. IETT, Metro Istanbul and City Lines will add additional services when necessary. In addition, City Lines will provide Kadıköy-Karakoy-Beşiktaş night services on 06.06.2025 (Friday Night) and 07.06.2025 (Saturday Night) connecting Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday.
