Sick baby in Bitlis sent to Ankara by ambulance plane

According to the statement made by the Provincial Health Directorate, the baby boy, who was born on June 1 at Tatvan State Hospital, was diagnosed with hypertension and congenital pneumonia as a result of the evaluations.

Thereupon, it was decided that the baby's further examination and treatment would be continued at a higher level center.

The baby was taken to Muş Sultan Alparslan Airport by ambulance and transferred to Ankara Etlik City Hospital by ambulance plane.

Provincial Health Director Gökhan Güzeltaş stated that the baby's referral was carried out quickly and successfully, and said, "I would like to thank all healthcare professionals who contributed to the referral process, especially Tatvan State Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care team. I wish a speedy recovery to our little baby."
