He killed his neighbor in the mosque!

In the Melikgazi district of Kayseri, Yasin Ş. came to the mosque where his neighbor Şevki Tanrıkulu, with whom he had previously argued over parking a car, was attending afternoon prayers.

Yasin Ş. stabbed Tanrıkulu in several places on his body while he was praying with a knife he had brought with him. After being separated by the mosque congregation, Yasin Ş. attacked Tanrıkulu again some time later.

THE COMMUNITY TRIED TO SEPARATE

Following reports from bystanders, numerous police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. Upon examination, Şevki Tanrıkulu was pronounced dead. Yasin Ş. surrendered to the police. Police took extensive security measures along the street and avenue where the mosque is located, and Tanrıkulu's body was taken to the Kayseri State Hospital morgue.

On the other hand, security camera footage of the incident has emerged.

The suspect's interrogation at the police station continues.
