Decision regarding 4 people in the case regarding the fire disaster in Kartalkaya
There has been a breaking development in the case regarding the fire disaster that killed 78 people at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya.
The 6th session of the first hearing of the case, in which 32 defendants, 19 of whom are in custody, were tried, concluded at midnight.
House arrest decision issuedThe Bolu 1st High Criminal Court ruled that judicial control provisions, including house arrest, be implemented for the defendants who are not in custody, Mudurnu Energy Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company officials İbrahim Polat and İsmail Karagöz, FQC Global Certification Joint Stock Company official Ali Ağaoğlu, and receptionist Yiğithan Burak Çetin.
The panel ruled to extend the judicial control order for firefighter İrfan Acar, ordering him not to leave his residence. The hearing will continue today with the seventh session.
