Autumn could be the cause of your headache! Pay particular attention to windy and rainy days.

While the vast majority of headaches are harmless, some can be a sign of serious health problems such as tumors, aneurysms, and meningitis. Neurologist Dr. Elvan Cevizci Akkılıç emphasizes that early intervention and treatment can save lives and outlines the characteristics of headaches that warrant a medical consultation:
- Sudden and severe onset or peak within minutes, described as "the worst headache of my life."
-Accompanied by neurological problems such as vision loss, double vision, speech impairment, weakness, numbness, loss of balance and confusion.
-New onset of headache over the age of 50 or change in the frequency and severity of existing pain (such as the pain that was previously compressive, becoming stabbing or lightning-like)
-Experiencing systemic problems such as fever, weight loss and night sweats.
-Occurs after head trauma.
