Women will start receiving text messages. It's an invitation to breast cancer screening.

If you receive a text message like this, don't ignore it. This message means you're in an age group at risk for breast cancer and haven't had a breast cancer screening in a while. A special campaign by the Ministry of Health is underway.
Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women . It accounts for nearly 24% of all cancer cases and is the cause of nearly 15% of all cancer-related deaths in women.
The Ministry of Health reminds that the risk of disease increases significantly after the age of 50.

He adds that the most important factor influencing the effectiveness of treatment is detecting cancer at the earliest possible stage of development.
See also:"Clinical studies have shown that mortality rates among women aged 50–69 who had mammograms every year or every two years decreased by 25–30 percent! Therefore, it is worth getting tested regularly and preventing the disease from developing," the ministry adds.
That is why he is starting another round of preventive measures.
Starting November 4th, over 1.5 million Polish women will receive personalized text messages inviting them to a free mammogram. This initiative aims to increase the number of women participating in preventive screenings and early detection of breast cancer.
In the coming days, messages will be sent to women aged 45–75 (calculated by year) who have not had a mammogram performed within the last year as part of the breast cancer prevention program.
You can sign up for the test:
via the website Klient.gov.pl or the mojeIKP application (it is worth enabling push notifications to receive information about free tests and prevention),
by phone or in person at the selected facility,
via the central e-registration of the National Health Fund , choosing a convenient date.
There are currently almost 100,000 available dates across the country.
The idea for personalized text message invitations arose from research showing that 74% of women would be more willing to schedule a screening after receiving a personal invitation. Thanks to collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the e-Health Center, nationwide messages can be sent directly to women who can and should benefit from preventive screenings.
Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed malignancy among women in Poland. Early detection offers a 90% chance of complete recovery .
Mammography is a quick, non-invasive test that doesn't require a referral —all you need is an ID card. Free screenings are available nationwide, both in stationary facilities and on mobile mammogram vans.
