Eduardo Clark García Dobarganes, Undersecretary of Integration and Development of the Health Sector, reported that Before the end of 2025, 31 hospitals and 12 family medicine clinics and units will be opened throughout the country.

In Tuesday's Health Cabinet Report, the Undersecretary indicated that since October 1, 2024—the start date of the current administration—to date, 13 new hospitals and nine family medicine clinics and units have been inaugurated, and another 18 new hospitals and three more family medicine clinics and units are expected to be inaugurated before December 31.

"Today we have already inaugurated 13 new hospitals, as well as nine clinics and family medicine units. And Before December 31, we will be inaugurating and commissioning another 18 new hospitals and three more clinics and family medicine units." , said.

He added: "What does this mean? That between October 1 and December 31, 2025, we will be opening 31 new hospitals across the country and 12 clinics and family medicine units," he explained.

García Dobarganes explained that the hospitals that have already been inaugurated and are currently operating are: Regional General Hospital No. 2 in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua; Regional General Hospital No. 23 in Ensenada, BC; Family Medicine Unit No. 58 Villa Fontana of the IMSS, in Guadalupe, Zacatecas; Family Medicine Unit No. 73 in San Nicolás, NL; Family Medicine Unit No. 93 in Torreón, Coahuila; Hospital Clinic in Palenque, Chiapas, of the ISSSTE; and Family Medicine Clinic of the ISSSTE in Pachuca, Hidalgo.
