Tumors: Oncologist Ronzino 'with Parp inhibitors radical change in ovarian cancer management'

“PARP inhibitor drugs have radically changed the natural history of ovarian cancer. Patient survival has improved thanks to the possibility of access to these drugs.” This was stated by Graziana Ronzino, medical director of the Complex Operating Unit of Oncology under the direction of the University of Lecce at the Vito Fazzi Hospital, at the meeting 'Ovarian Cancer in Puglia: Let's Change Course' during which clinicians, institutions and patients discussed, in the Bari stage, the importance of prevention of hereditary-familial tumors, of the personalization of treatment and of genetic tests.
