Tumors: Oncologist Cormio 'in ovarian cancer better management quality of life'

"Today it is possible to live with the disease. We have a whole series of therapeutic procedures and a series of treatments, such as first-line chemotherapy and maintenance therapy, which allow us to better manage the quality of life of patients in the post-operative period". This was stated by Gennaro Cormio, director of the Oncological Gynecology operating unit at the IRCCS Giovanni Paolo II in Bari, speaking at the event 'Ovarian cancer in Puglia: Let's Change Course', to raise awareness of personalized care and prevention of hereditary-familial tumors.
