Pollution in Lyon: Very poor air quality this Friday
Air quality in Lyon and the entire Lyon metropolitan area will remain very poor this Friday, June 20, 2025.
It's still very difficult to breathe in Lyon and the Lyon metropolitan area. This Friday, June 20, the situation " is deteriorating further, with areas where ozone levels could exceed the information and recommendation threshold of 180µg/m3, " explains Atmo, the air quality observatory in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
A yellow alert has also been activated for air quality in the Lyon area. Conditions will remain poor throughout the day, with deteriorating concentrations of ozone and multi-pollutants.
