Franche-Comté: A woman from Doubs becomes director of the Regional Health Agency

Originally from Doubs and having studied medicine in Besançon, Mathilde Marmier has just been appointed director of the Regional Health Agency (ARS) of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. She replaces Jean-Jacques Coiplet, who has chaired the body since November 2022. Until recently, Mathilde Marmier was director of human procreation, embryology and genetics at the Biomedicine Agency .

A public health doctor, Ms. Marmier was also a public health and disability advisor in the office of former Prime Minister Gabriel Attal and previously an advisor on social issues, mental health user rights and vulnerable populations in the office of the Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Marisol Touraine .

More recently, she worked for the Seine-Saint-Denis departmental council and the National Health Insurance Fund, before joining the City of Paris, within the public health department, notably in charge of the children's health, parenthood and sexual health department.
