Blood donation: how to get involved in Dordogne for World Blood Donation Day 2025?

A snack of spit-roasted wild boar and fries will be served to all donors who come to Montignac on Saturday, June 14. Another event is planned in Périgueux.
In Dordogne, the French Blood Establishment (EFS) is calling for the mobilization of blood donors, both regular and new, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day 2025. This will take place on Saturday, June 14.
The EFS will organize a collection that day in Montignac-Lascaux (from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the village hall) with an original menu: a gourmet snack with spit-roasted wild boar and fries will be served to all donors. This day will also be livened up with a slogan and drawing competition with schools, demonstrations by the firefighters, an introduction to first aid... In partnership with the municipality, Montignac will officially become an "ambassador town for organ donation."
The EFS will also offer a lively collection with an “enhanced” snack, Wednesday, June 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Périgueux Theater.
